Free QR code menu for restaurants

A QR menu in about fifteen minutes. Photograph your paper menu. Marji reads every dish and price off the photo and turns it into a hosted digital menu with its own QR code and printable table tents. No typing, no card, no expiry.

Or browse the 21 designs first.

Not sure the scan can read your menu? Try it on a photo right now — no account needed, and the read is yours to keep.

Three steps, and only one of them takes any time.

  1. 1

    Photograph your menu

Any paper menu, any phone. Marji reads every dish, section and price off the photo — you're not typing 40 items into a form.

  2. 2

    Check the read

Anything the scan was unsure about is flagged for a one-tap fix. This is the part that takes ten minutes, and it's the only part that does.

  3. 3

    Pick a design and publish

Choose from 21 designs. Your menu goes live at its own address with a QR code and printable table tents ready to download.

What's included

A hosted menu page

At its own address, indexable by Google. "[Your restaurant] menu" is the highest-intent search there is, and this is a page built to answer it.

A QR code and table tents

High-resolution QR plus print-ready table tents in your chosen design. Download, print, done.

A printable PDF

The same menu, same design, laid out for paper — for the guests who'd rather not scan anything.

A sold-out toggle

86 a dish in one tap and it disappears from the live menu. No more explaining at four tables in a row.

21 designs

Structurally different layouts and typography, not colour swaps. Change design any time without re-entering anything.

Price changes any time

Edit from your phone. The page and the PDF both update; you reprint the paper only if you want to.

What isn't in the free tier, because it's the half we sell: invoice scanning, dish costing and the price recommendations that come out of them. Those start at $59 per location a month, and the QR menu stays free whether you ever take them or not.

Questions

Is it actually free, or free for 30 days?

Actually free, forever, with no credit card. The QR menu tier is a permanent plan, not a trial. Your menu page carries a small "Menu by Marji" credit at the bottom — that's the entire cost.

What's the catch?

Once your dishes and prices are in Marji, showing you which ones are quietly losing margin is the easy part — and that's the paid product. We're betting some of you will want it. If you don't, keep the free menu; it doesn't expire and we won't hold it hostage.

Does the QR code expire?

No. It points at your menu page and keeps working. If you'd rather generate a plain static QR code for something else entirely, our free QR code generator does that with no account at all.

How long does it really take?

Most menus are live inside 15 minutes, and the majority of that is you checking the scan read your handwriting correctly. A very long or unusually laid-out menu takes longer.

Can I update prices later?

Yes, any time, from your phone. The hosted page and the printable PDF both update — you only reprint the paper if you want to. There's also a sold-out toggle so an 86'd dish disappears from the menu in one tap.

Will Google find my menu page?

That's the point of hosting it rather than handing you a PDF. Your menu page is a real indexable page with your restaurant's name, dishes and prices on it, which is what "[your restaurant] menu" searches are looking for. You can also set it as the menu URL on your Google Business Profile.

What if my menu changes seasonally?

Edit the items directly. There's no limit on changes and no charge for them. Re-photographing a whole new menu uses the scanner, which is part of the paid half after the trial.

Do I need to be technical?

You need a phone with a camera. There's nothing to install, no website to connect, and no DNS to configure.

Fifteen minutes, and your menu is online.

No card, no trial clock, no sales call. Photograph the menu you already have.
