Contribution margin — delivery
$5.75
With the entered fees and prices, this dish contributes $5.75 through delivery, $10.55 through direct pickup and $11.20 dine-in. A delivery price of $23.79 would preserve the dine-in contribution dollars at the assumed costs. This does not predict order volume or net profit.

Should I raise prices on delivery apps?
Compare your variable costs, current channel agreement and likely customer response. This tool calculates a scenario; it cannot recommend a price or forecast customer demand. You decide whether a change is appropriate.
Is delivery worth it at 30%?
Only if the orders are incremental. A delivery order from someone who would otherwise have dined in is a margin loss dressed as growth. One from a customer you'd never have reached is genuine, as long as the contribution is still positive.
What about the lower commission tiers?
Enter the fees in your actual agreement and compare total contribution at different manually entered order volumes. Tier names, rates and services vary; no current platform rate is supplied by this calculator.
